by purchasing, downloading, or using any ari’s bytes product, you agree to the terms below.

general

‣ all ari’s bytes products are 18+ only. you must be 18 or older to purchase, download, or use them.

‣ downloading or obtaining a product gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it under these terms. you are not buying ownership of the ari’s bytes avatar design, edits, setup, configuration, textures, custom work, or other original work created by ari’s bytes. third-party assets remain owned and licensed by their original creators.

‣ do not claim any ari’s bytes product, avatar, asset, texture, edit, or other work as your own creation.

‣ ari’s bytes products - including edits - may not be uploaded, shared, supplied, or used for ai training, generative ai, nfts, blockchain projects, or similar purposes.

‣ do not redistribute my files in any form. this includes server dumps, asset packs, kits, shared project files, group drives, or giving files to friends, partners, or other users.

‣ all files are uniquely generated per buyer. leaked or shared files can be traced back to the purchase they came from. please keep your files secure.

‣ licences are for one person only. if you are buying something as a gift, the licence must belong to the person receiving it.

‣ third-party assets will be credited on the product page or inside the file. those assets remain subject to their original creators’ terms.

‣ basic unity/blender knowledge is required. i do not offer one-to-one setup help or general unity/blender teaching.

‣ products are provided for the versions of vrchat, unity, shaders, sdks, and third-party systems stated or supported at the time of release. i am not responsible for issues or incompatibilities caused by later updates to those platforms or systems, although i’ll provide fixes where possible.

‣ coupon codes: if a code i’ve given you is expired, invalid, or not working, contact me and i’ll check it and issue a replacement where appropriate.

‣ breaking these terms can result in loss of access to products, updates, support, or future purchases.

‣ if your licence is permanently revoked for breaking these terms, you must stop using the product and delete any copies you have.

avatars

‣ ari’s bytes avatars are for personal use only and licensed to one user.

‣ do not share, redistribute, resell, or upload the avatar to another user’s account. this includes friends, partners, and alt accounts.

‣ you may edit or customise your avatar, but it must keep its core structure, silhouette, and overall aesthetic.

headswaps and bodyswaps are not allowed.

‣ edits do not transfer ownership.

‣ do not extract or reuse assets from an ari’s bytes avatar, even if you separately own the same asset elsewhere.

this includes clothing, body parts, textures, props, systems, animations, or any other components.

‣ ari’s bytes avatars must never be uploaded as public, searchable, or cloneable avatars. all uploads must remain private.

‣ avatars may be shown in non-commercial streams, videos, screenshots, and social media content with clear credit to ari’s bytes.

monetised, sponsored, promotional, or other commercial use requires permission first.

‣ some avatars include pre-configured third-party systems for convenience. i do not provide advanced support for systems i did not make.

full credits can be found on the product page, inside the download, or in my discord server.

assets

‣ ari’s bytes assets are licensed for personal and commercial use on completed models only.

‣ assets may be used on paid, free, public, nitro, commercial, or personal avatars unless the product page says otherwise.

‣ you may recolour, resize, reshape, optimise, or otherwise adjust an asset for your project.

‣ edits do not transfer ownership and remain covered by these terms.

‣ assets may not be redistributed, shared, resold, or released as stand-alone products, even when edited.

‣ when an ari’s bytes asset is used on a public, free, nitro, or commercial avatar, clear credit to ari’s bytes is required on every product page where that avatar is sold or distributed.

‣ if the product is a head edit or contains work from another creator, their terms and credit requirements also apply.

‣ do not extract ari’s bytes assets from another avatar or product for reuse, even if you personally own a licence for that asset.

‣ ari’s bytes assets may not be repackaged or repurposed as freebies, kits, asset packs, shared resources, or stand-alone sales.

‣ if you commission somebody to work on your model, both you and the commissioned artist must own a valid licence for the ari’s bytes asset being used.

‣ once both licences are confirmed, the relevant files may be shared between you and the commissioned artist only for the purpose of completing and delivering that commission.

‣ do not share ari’s bytes files with a commissioned artist who does not own the required product. proof of purchase may be requested before files are transferred.

account & licence information

‣ where a vrchat username or user id is requested during checkout, the licence is linked to that user.

‣ vrchat usernames containing special fonts, symbols, or unusual characters must be entered exactly as they appear.

‣ where a discord username is requested, enter your actual discord username, not your display name.

‣ if you do not have a discord account, say so rather than entering a fake username.

‣ if you change your vrchat display name later, your licence remains valid as long as it is still the same vrchat account/id.

‣ when gifting, any vrchat or discord details entered must belong to the person receiving the gift.

‣ please enter genuine and complete account information when purchasing.

fake usernames, fabricated ids, display names entered instead of required usernames, or deliberately false information can result in your licence being suspended or revoked, your access being removed, and your email being banned from future purchases without refund.

‣ if you made a genuine mistake during checkout, contact me with valid proof of purchase so i can correct it where possible.

refunds, payment disputes & access

‣ all purchases are final once the digital product has been provided, accessed, or downloaded. refunds are not offered for change of mind after access to the files. this does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

‣ you are responsible for making sure you have permission to use the payment method used at checkout.

‣ ari’s bytes is not responsible for purchases made using someone else’s card or account without their permission, including purchases made by minors using a parent or guardian’s payment method.

‣ an unauthorised purchase does not give the purchaser a valid licence to use or keep the product.

‣ chargebacks or payment reversals do not give you the right to keep or continue using the product.

‣ fraudulent chargebacks, deliberate payment reversals after receiving the product, or other abuse of the payment system can result in your licence being revoked, product access being removed, and future purchases being refused.

‣ if your access has been suspended because of incorrect purchase information, please open a ticket in my discord server with valid proof of purchase.
